RV College of Engineering (RVCE) is a self-financing Engineering College (AICTE approved) which was established in the year 1963 with only three branches of Engineering: Civil, Electrical & Mechanical. RCVE offers 12 specializations under UG Programmes in Engineering, 16 specializations under Master's Degree programmes and Doctoral studies. RCVE offers admission to over 1200 students per year. Ans. RVCE offers lateral entry in the MCA course. Almost around 20% of seats have been allotted to those candidates who are applying for lateral entry into the MCA program.
Ans. RVCE is considered a great college for Engineering. It is AICTE approved. Engineering at the UG level is offered here in 12 different specializations. At PG Level 16 different specializations are there. Candidates will get quite a good placement at RVCE. Candidates will have to go through assignment writing, project report making and preparing for exams in every month. Students are provided all the facilities required for their comfort starting from hostels to banks within the campus itself. Overall, it is a very good option for pursuing Engineering.
Ans. Candidates of RVCE can get placed into quite top-notch & reputed companies. Ans. Thapar University is considered better than RVCE Bangalore as it has better infrastructures and well-equipped labs with the latest instruments. The academic facility is also much better at Thapar University. The college has a better peer group. The average CTC received at Thapar University is however is same as RCVE.
